♕ Make Up Look ~ Tropical Eyes ♕

Now that Halloween is over, it's time for me to get back on track and resume the normal eye looks publication. I'm still a couple of looks behind - but bear with me, we're almost there!

Today's look may feel a little out of place, since it's so tropical while we're here, in the middle of the Autumn, wearing warm and cozy clothes. Mind you, I don't relate my looks to the season, I do wear the brightest shades even in middle winter - and viceversa, I feel comfortable with doing deep, dark looks during summer :D
But I'm wandering off, let's focus back on this makeup. There's a specific reasons why it's so colorful - and it's because this is the very first look I've ever done using Sugarpill's eyeshadows, back in August. Very bright, very summery, with a sprinkle of glitters... Perhaps a little mermaid-ish, too? ♥ The perfect way to inaugurate my newest eyeshadows ;D

I remember feeling a little overwhelmed when I got to use these shadows for the first time... I had 12 beautiful shades in front of me, waiting, and I couldn't decide which ones to use first. I kept changing my mind over and over again - then finally I picked up an handful of shades I wanted to try; this probably took more than doing the whole look, lol XD

I went for a simple look, nothing too weird or elaborate, as I just wanted to focus on the shadows to test them and see how they worked. I added some glitters to spice it up a little bit, and the eyeliner is not the classical winged-style I usually do - but apart from that, it's quite a simple look.

After priming my lids I started working on the crease/outer corner blending right away: I decided to go for a bright blue shade, so I used Velocity - I applied it on my crease, on my outer corner and also on my lower lashline & lid. All around it I applied another bright shade, Kim Chi, which I blended with Velocity in order to create a soft transition. I used Home Sweet Home  as transition shade and I blended all the edges, on both upper and lower lids - and of course on the outer corner area.
On the upper lid I used Mochi, which is a pale shade of sea foam green - so pale that I decided to intensify it a little using Midori; unfortunately it wasn't captured properly in picture, you can barely tell it's there ;_;

On the inner corner I decided to use the yellow (which added that tropical effect to the whole look, in my opinion) - so I applied Buttercupcake there, which I overlaid with a shimmery eyeshadow - Sensuelle by NABLA Cosmetics. I applied Antique White (from the same brand) on my brow bone and I was pretty much done with the eyeshadows - no black lashline definition this time, as I decided to use a blue eyepencil on my waterline.
I added the eyeliner, using the Tattoo Liner in Trooper by Kat Von D Beauty; as I said, not the usual, plain winged line, yet not that basic. It's kind of a double, split wing - with a specular detail on the inner corner. I've already said I used no black eyeshadow nor eyepencil on my lower lashline/waterline, just a blue eyepencil. I applied falsies and mascara, but I wasn't done yet: as a final touch, I applied a mix of Billie and Bob loose glitters by Glitter Palace on my nose bridge and on my cheekbone.
