♕ Make Up Look ~ Fire Style ♕

After a very short break from graphic look... Here we go again XD The previous look was a sort of test run, a warm up to inaugurate KVD's Tattoo Liner; next, I did a look that I ended up not liking (if you follow me on Instagram you already know what I'm talking about), which I'm going to post here on my blog... But then I did this look, which I'm really proud of :D

The eyeliner's shape, the shades and the glitters I used made me think of a flame... Thus the title!

I needed to do something graphical to see what Trooper could really do. So I sketched this eyeliner design before starting doing my make up - doing that, I already knew what to do and thus could go faster (otherwise I tend to loose tons of time, trying to decide what to do and which products use). When the sketch was ready it looked quite challenging... and I totally went for it!

I choose to use, for a change, warm reddish shades - also because I wanted to include some orange-y and gold glitters so I though... Let's use some colours I've been neglecting lately. (And with 'lately' I mean several months, whoops)

After priming my lids, I started off with the crease blending. I had to keep in mind the overall design in order to place all the shades/products in the right spot - so I made the blending start right before the center of the lid. I used Fahrenheit as main shade, then blended it with a touch of Petra, and used Narciso as transition shade (all shadows by NABLA Cosmetics).
Once I was happy with the crease shades, I moved on to the lid. I left the inner part of the lid (about 1/4) empty, and applied a bunch of different eyeshadows to create a reverse gradient - that starts darker and becomes lighter and lighter. I used in this order: Juno Moon, Daphne n° 2, Grenadine, Desire and Lazy Days (again all by NABLA).
On the lower lid I used purple-ish shades: Fashion Addict as main shade and Hopscotch as transition shade (both by Makeup Geek Cosmetics).

Now the fun (and tricky) part: graphic eyeliner. I used Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper, and I started off by doing a 'normal' winged line - but I stopped before the inner part of the lid. Then I drew the curve, and applied it backwards going towards the outer corner... Creating the design you can see in the pics. I applied the liner on the lower lashline too, drawing a small curved shape towards the tear duct.
When I was happy with the eyeliner design, I went back to the eyeshadows and perfected the applications, following the curved liner (hope this makes sense).
The next step is applying glitters: I chose to use two different shades, a pure gold one and an orange-y one. So, I applied the gold one, Brassic, on the tear duct - while I applied Fireball (which is amazing!) on the empty areas of the lid.
The last steps were black eyepencil on the waterline & black eyeshadow on the lashline, false lashes and mascara.
